Airhead Achieves ISO 27001

ISO-27001_Cyber

Earlier this year, Airhead Education was very pleased to achieve the Cyber Essentials accreditation, a key deliverable of the UK’s National Cyber Security Programme. Whilst it’s an excellent achievement and reflects our commitment to the security of information held by Airhead Education on behalf of our customers, we wanted to push on to the next level.

The internationally recognised ISO 27001 standard was developed to provide a model for establishing, implementing, operating, monitoring, reviewing, maintaining and improving an information security management system. Certified organisations are committed to continuous improvement and are assessed annually to ensure progress is being maintained.

For the last 6 months, we’ve been working towards our ISO 27001 accreditation with the leading Certification Body, the British Assessment Bureau. We’re now very pleased to announce that Airhead Education has earned the right to display the coveted British Assessment Bureau ISO 27001 certification mark to demonstrate its conformance to the standard.

So what does that actually mean? Well, it means that our systems and procedures have been externally audited and have achieved the required standard, demonstrating that your information is safe with Airhead Education!

Well done 2016 Bett Awards winners!

This time last year, we were sat nervously waiting to see whether we’d won a Bett award or not. In the end we were successful and unashamedly jubilant about it. We know exactly what it’s like. I’m happy to say in 2016 we had a much more relaxed experience, living the dream vicariously through Twitter from a very comfortable, remote location.

Our congratulations go out to all the winners of this year’s Bett Awards and to help spread the word, we’ve created a launchpad of all the companies or products that were successful. The ‘Innovation in ICT’ Bett award has been a real boost for Airhead and so we know the winners will justly reap the rewards of last night’s success.

Congratulations and enjoy the rest of Bett 2016!

Have a chat to Airhead at Bett 2016

Happy New Year to our customers, partners, friends and colleagues!

2015 was a bumper year for Airhead, thanks in no small part to our partners. It started brilliantly when we won the Bett Innovation in ICT award. Since then, we’ve had the pleasure of working with partners such as Think IT, E2BN, SWGfL, Groupcall and BT. It therefore seems only right that our Bett stand should also be a joint effort with another of our trusted partners, Microsoft.

Partner_CollageAirhead will be an inaugural member of the The Microsoft Partner Village, a new and exciting addition to the Bett Show. It brings key Microsoft partners together in one location to give Bett visitors a focused experience of the amazing things partners are doing with Microsoft. Come and have a chat with Airhead on stand C300 and find out what all the fuss is about.

As well as presenting in the Microsoft Village Theatre, we’ll also be presenting on Think IT’s stand (D100) every day at 3pm. Think IT is the ‘one-stop-shop’ for all your schools’ ICT needs. It’s a DfE recommended procurement framework with over 30 leading educational suppliers and Airhead is proud to be one of those partners.

We’re really looking forward to kicking off 2016 with a cracking Bett. If you’re not coming to Bett and you want to find out a bit more about Airhead, check out this flightdeck or visit our website and create a free personal account. Otherwise, we looking forward to seeing you 20 – 23rd January at the world’s leading education technology show!
